• If the sentence has no object, the adverb follows

Usually adverbs modify verbs. When an adverb
modifies a verb, it can be placed sentence in
the following manners

2. If there is an object and the sentence is
short, the adverb follows the object. For
example,

• He learned the words easily.

adverb is placed immediately before the verb

• He really enjoyed the show.

favorite director is Steven Spielberg and my
favorite actor is Anthony Hopkins. Nicole Kidman
is probably one of the worlds best actresses but
my favorite is Jodie Foster. I like most
kinds of films westerns, war films, comedies,
thrillers, horror films anything really except
science fiction films. Films that are set in
the future really do not attract me. In
addition, I am not very keen on films that have
subtitles. It is not because I do not like
foreign films. It is because I find it really
difficult to read the subtitles, listen to the
dialogue and watch the action all at the same
time!
11. Why doesnt she really like films with
subtitles? because they are boring because
they dont attract her because you have to do
