Medium sized Government Organisations (SMGOs) -
- Secure, interoperable and affordable Web services
for Small and Medium sized Government
Organisations (SMGOs) across Europe. - eGovernment Web services in smaller
municipalities often hindered by lack of
financial, political or legal support. Security
and technical problems cannot be solved because
required expertise or infrastructure not
available. - eMayor looks into the issues which are the main
barriers to progress. By creating an eGovernment
platform eMayor intends to help SMGOs overcome
these barriers.
- eMayor started on January 1st, 2004 and will end
in February 2006 - 14 European Partners from Industry, Universities
and the Public sector - Trials involve 4 European Municipalities
