Un adjetivo describe un sustantivo (persona,
lugar, cosa). Un pronombre reemplaza un
sustantivo (persona, lugar, cosa).

OJO
The definite article (el/la/los/las) is used
when the possessive pronoun is used in a
comparison. Ej Su casa es roja, pero la suya es
blanca. Her house is red, but his is
white. Ej Mi pastel no es tan sabroso como el
tuyo. My cake isnt as delicious as yours.
The definite article is also used when a
possessive pronoun starts a sentence. The
teacher says to one student, Tu tarea está
en casa? Then he/she says to the next
student Ej. La tuya también está en casa?
(Yours is also at home?)
