Choose Appropriate Font

• 24 point (preferred)
• 18 point (minimum)
• 14 point (charts and tables)

• Choose appropriate color combinations
• Dark background, light font

• Fancy fonts can be difficult to read

Keep Slides Simple

• Use bullet points
• Avoid long sentences and paragraphs because
  people lose interest as sentences get longer and
  longer and verbose and wordy and stuff
• Limit the amount of information per slide
• Slides are intended to support your presentation
  (not BE the presentation)

• Large graphics leave little room for text
• Excessive graphics can be distracting
