Welcome
Pupils winter uniform
Menu Every month we get a letter of the menu. We
have spud busters .They are jacket potatoes with
a choice of fillings.
Parochial post Every week we get the Parochial
post. It is a letter that tells the pupils and
their parents what's going on in school.

Reception Mrs Macnamara and Mrs Walker Learning
to write their name and to say and write words.
Y3 Mrs Bates Learning to use correct punctuation
and legible handwriting.
Y1 Mrs Neale Learning how to write and add and
subtract numbers.
Y2 Mrs Williamson Learning times tables and to
write stories , full stops and capitals.
Y4 Mrs Latham To join up handwriting and to
produce a good standard of work.
Y6 Mrs Dillon To have legible handwriting
accurate punctuation and a good standard of work
for sats.
Y5 Mr Belton To produce good work in addition to
sats in the next year.

Events
Worry box The worry box is a box covered in
wrapping paper. The class can write down their
worries and the teacher can read them and
hopefully sort them out.
Suggestion box The suggestion box is a box
covered in wrapping paper. The class can write
down their suggestions and if it is sensible they
can possibly do it.
After School Clubs On Mondays there is gymnastics
and on Tuesdays there is Social Club and on
Wednesdays there is Football Training. On
Thursdays there is fun and faith and on Fridays
there is karate in the morning and after school
there is Irish dancing.

Subjects
Maths Addition, subtraction , multiply , divide
, ratio and many more. Literacy Punctuation,
spelling, letters and handwriting. Science
experiments and learning about how things work.
R.E the study of different religions and
ours. History learning about the past. Art
drawing or making things I.C.T the using of
computers French the learning of the French
language.

Sports
Golf Each year in year 5 for P.E. they do golf
with a special golf instructor.
Football Wednesdays the re is Football Training.
Tennis Each year a class is taught by a tennis
instructor.
Swimming Every year in year in year 4 and 5 we
go to Dunstan Swimming Baths to learn how to swim
different strokes. Year 6 start going to galas.
Basketball Year 6 get taught to by a basketball
instructor called Billy Spragg who enters people
in competitions against other schools in
Whickham.
Karate On a Friday morning we do karate. We are
taught by a world champion.

polite, And if you come to our school you'll be
in for a awesome sight, We go on lots of
trips, And now and then we learn some scripts, We
love a good school fare, And we always try to
