How chemical, biological and mechanical
technology relate to six topics
Americas Abundance - Increased food fiber
production in spite of decreasing availability of
farmland.
Feeding Planet Earth Food fiber demands will
increase along with the increase in population to
10 billion by 2050.

Farmers, Stewards of the Land - Technology allows
for sustainable food production, decreased soil
erosion and higher yields.
Farm Fueled Biofuels - Finding new ways to meet
fuel demands from biomass.

War of the Weeds Crop production without
herbicides would result in less yield, more farm
acreage, increased labor needs, more soil
cultivation and erosion.
Careers Across the Spectrum Agriculture offers
opportunities across the spectrum and require
highly educated and trained professionals.
