Disconnect Communication, although an oxymoron,
has a particular meaning when used with Business
Rules. The proposed definition is When two
people engage in a communication and One person
may believe he/she understood what they heard,
but do not and / or One person may believe
he/she have been understood,and they have not.
4Disconnect Communication
This results in a misunderstanding. Either
person may believe they have the correct
information or understanding, but they proceed
with incorrect assumptions. The consequence is
erroneous efforts, wasted time and money. The
people may need to meet again to clarify the
original communication. Additional resources
may be needed to clean up the mistake. There
will be a delay in the provision of the correct
deliverables.

a communication and The target audience does not
understand the communication and /or The
organization believes they are understood, but
confusion or misunderstanding is the
result. This results in human behaviors that are
unwanted or unexpected.

level. - Each person assumes they are understood.

is used by everyone in the organization and
propagated out to clients and customers.

- The goals may match on paper, but people assign
their own priorities. They have different
expectations. - Result timing missteps, misaligned behavior,
