• 1 January to 30 April 2008
• Average of 91 cases a month
• March to April 103 cases

AN INVESTIGATIVE APPROACH

• Kroonstad High Court case

• 15 Accused charged for operating and acting as a
  crime syndicate for the period 15 November 1999
  until 31 May 2005
• A total of 50 charges were presented against the
  accused
• Had as common purpose hi-jacked 22 trucks and the
  drivers there off
• Armed robbery - 22
• Abduction - 25
