What is the purpose of Title IV-A funds?

• Foster a safe and drug-free learning environment
  that supports academic achievement
• Is consistent with the Principles of
  Effectiveness
• Is designed to, reduce violence delinquency and
  the use, possession, and distribution of illegal
  drugs
• Creates a well-disciplined environment conducive
  to learning
• Contains activities for parents and includes
  coordination with community or agencies

• Target at-risk or high-risk students
