Hebburn Town Juniors A Charter Standard Club
In June this year, Hebburn Town Juniors FC were
awarded Charter Standard by The FA. The Charter
Standard Scheme is best practice guide that sets
standards of coaching, administration and child
protection for all clubs outside the Football
League and Premier League. As a benchmark for
quality, it will improve the playing experience
for all. Club Chairperson Shirley Bowman said
This is a fantastic achievement for the club. We
are one of the larger clubs in the area to
achieve this award and the committee and our club
secretary Sharon Grewcock in particular, should
be proud of their efforts in gaining this award.
2End of Season Presentation
What a great success the end of season
presentations were! All players, parents and
coaches enjoyed celebrating the players
achievements for the season. A special thank you
goes to MC Shirley, who was at all three
presentations and also to the committee members
who worked tremendously hard in ensuring the
event went smoothly. Thanks also go to Mal Evans
for producing the presentation booklets.

yearly membership fees for the club will remain
at 10 per child. Subscriptions will remain at
