14Accelerated Block Scheduling
- Block scheduling is not a change in curriculum.
It is just a change in the daily schedule.
15Accelerated Block Scheduling Positives
- Students concentrate on only four subjects at a
time for ninety minutes each. - Students see the teacher every day which creates
better rapport with students.
- Students get more content in one class period.
- Less start-up and shut-down time.
- The teacher sees 75-90 students a day versus
150-180 students a day.
