3All Inclusive Applications On The 1000 Platform Full Feature Router/Firewall is easy to configure and has all the familiar configuration settings as other top routers. Allows for easy integration and eliminates the need for multiple devices. Router Supports Port Forwarding, DMZ, DHCP server and more. Logging can be turned on/off, viewed by an administrator through the web interface, and can be emailed to any address. Outlook Integration allows any user to configure their Outlook contacts to there direct extension. With the click of a mouse button a user can call any number stored in their Outlook Contacts. Off-Site Extensions no additional cost to connect an off-site IPitomy phone or softphone thru a broadband connection.

6What is so different about IPitomy?
- The system runs on the LAN. It shares the network
with all of the other devices like PCs, printers
and routers. - The phones can be unplugged from the LAN and
plugged in anywhere and the phone extension
number stays the same. - Phones can be configured to work anywhere there
is a broadband Internet connection including
outside the building.

11LCD Display Soft Keys
- Your phone can have 20 soft keys. You can see 5
at a time. - Soft keys can be set up as feature keys for
features like call pickup or call forwarding. - Soft keys can monitor the busy status of up to
5 other extensions. When the busy lamp is
flashing, you can pick up that persons call.
When it is on, they are on a call. - Soft keys can be programmed as speed dials.

14Dialed CallsMissed CallsAnswered Calls
Press the Service key to access the list of
Dialed, Missed and Answered Calls. Use the center
navigation rocker switch to select which call
list to view. Press show or right arrow
navigation key to see the list. Use the rocker
switch to select the call from the list. Press
Detail to select the call. Dial the number by
pressing dial. Save to the phone book (PB). Press
Quit to exit.
15Phone Book
To access the phone book press the phone book
key. Your phone will store a record of each
missed call that rings to your extension. The
missed call record is the name and number as it
is available from the telephone service
provider. The call information can be stored in
the phone book for dialing out. Numbers can be
entered and edited in the phone book too. To exit
the phone book,press quit.
16Line Keys
Each line key represents a separate call on your
phone. If you place a call on hold, the line key
will blink while the caller is holding. To
transfer a caller, it is not necessary to put
them on hold first. Just press the transfer key
and the first call is automatically placed on
hold. Dial tone will be heard on the second line
and any number can be dialed. You can press the
transfer key again to blind transfer the call or
wait for the other party to answer. After the
other party answers, you can press the transfer
key again or just hang up.

Your new phone is based upon IP technology. It
works similar to a cell phone with some of the
same features of a traditional business telephone.
Dial Backspace Quit
For best results DIAL NUMBER FIRST After
dialing Pick up the handset or, Press the
speaker button for a hands-free call. The
speaker button also enables the headset. Press
the speaker button two times to enablethe
headset. Pressing a line key will start a
hands-free call too. When dialing before going
off hook, you gain the advantage of having the
backspace key. You can also dial by picking up
the handset or pressing speaker and dialing the
number.
18LCD DisplayIdle Display
- The LCD Display shows voicemail status, missed
calls, busy lamps, speed dials and feature soft
keys. - The display shows how many new/old voice mails
are in your voice mail box. - The Blue message waiting light indicates new
messages are in your mailbox. - Missed Calls are kept on the missed calls
list. Press the Service button to view missed,
answered and dialed calls Missed calls can be
easily returned by just selecting the missed
call and pressing dial. - Date and time are synchronized with an
Internet Time Server for maximum accuracy.
19How Do I Transfer a Call?Attended Transfer
- While you are on an active call, press the
transfer key. You will receive dial tone from the
next available line. - Dial the number you want to transfer the call to.
- Wait for the other party to answer.
- When the other party indicates they would like to
take the call, press the transfer key or just
hang up. If the other party decides not to accept
the call, press the drop soft key or press the
original line key. - You now have the original party back on the line.
20How Do I Transfer a Call?Blind Transfer
- While you are on an active call, press the
transfer key. You will receive dial tone from the
next available line. - Dial the number you want to transferthe call to.
- Press the transfer key again to release the call
to the dialed extension.
21How Do I Transfer a Call?Transfer to Voice Mail
- If you want to send a call directly to voice mail
bypassing ringing the parties extension - While you are on an active call, press the
transfer key. You will receive dial tone from
the next available line. - Dial a followed by the extension number whose
voice mail you want to transfer the call to. - Press the transfer key again to release the call
to the dialed extensions voice mail.
22Parking a Call
- Use Park when you want someone else to pick up
this call. The Park pickup keys light up on all
the telephones, indicating a live parked call. - If you answer a call and the party wishes to be
connected to someone and you are not sure if
that party can accept the call or may be away
from their desk, place the caller on park by
pressing the park key once. - The system will tell you by speaking what park
button the caller is parked on. Then you can
either call or page the party and inform them
that they have a call parked on pickup 1, 2, or
3. - The park pickup light will be illuminated on all
phones until the call is picked up. The call
can be picked up by anyone. - To get the caller back, press the appropriate
park pickup key.
23Voice mail
- The voice mail button provides direct access to
your voice mail messages. - Press the button once and the system will ask
for your password. - When your blue message waiting indicator is
flashing, you have voice mail messages waiting. - The display on your phone will indicate how
many new messages and how many old messages are
in your voice mail box.
24Pause
- Pressing the pause key once will put your phone
in do-not-disturb mode and all incoming calls
will be sent to your voicemail. - While your pause key is enabled, your busy lamp
will be on, indicating that you are not
available to receive calls. - Pressing pause again will turn the feature off.
25Hold
- To place a call on hold, press the hold button
once. - To remove the call from hold, press the flashing
line key where the call originally came in. - Calls are automatically put on hold when you
press the transfer key or press another line key.
26ConferenceMaking a three party conference
- Once a call is established, you can create a
three party conference. - With the first call on the line, press the Conf
key - You will receive dial tone from the next
available line. - Dial the number you wish to conference in.
- Press conference again.
- All three parties are joined together.
- Press drop or hang up to end the conference.

27User Tips
- To end a call, press the hang up key.
- To page another party press followed by the
other partys extension number. This will cause a
speaker phone page. - To page a group of people, press the appropriate
group number. All parties in the group will
receive the page. - To pick up a parked call, press the appropriate
park pickup key. - Remember that it is not necessary to put a call
on hold to transfer the call. Just press another
line key or press the transfer button. The caller
will be placed on hold automatically. - When placing a call, dial first then go off hook
by picking up the receiver or pressing speaker. - If you go off hook first before dialing, remember
to press the dial key.

30Logging In
From your browser type in the IP address of the
system. You can get this from your system
administrator.
IP1000
You will get a screen like this for the
IP1000. Use the user login option. On the IP1000
click the blue link to go to the user login
page. Or like this for the other systems. Type
in your extension number and Mailbox PIN number
and press Login to get into your SPC Page.

31The Home Screen
The Home screen provides a quick summary of all
received calls and all voice mail messages. If
there is a red handset Symbol next to a phone
number or a message, you can click on that number
to return a call to that person. You will get a
Dial screen. Press call to make the call. Your
phone will ring. Simply pick up your ringing
phone and the call will go through.
32My Account
Selecting My Account provides access to several
options. Your account must be enabled to use all
of these features to access them. Check with your
system administrator. Voice Mail Settings Follow

33Voicemail Settings
The settings for your voicemail to email can be
changed here. The mailbox number and name cannot
be changed by you. Your mailbox number is the
same as your extension number.
You can change your Password (PIN) and your email
address. This is the email address that a copy of
your voicemail message will be sent to. To
enable voice mail to email, select yes. Your
voicemail will be sent to your email account as
an attachment. To delete all voicemail and only
receive it as email select yes. Allows user to
rerecord message Allow callers to dial ) for
the operator from the mailbox. Messages can be
automatically deleted from the voicemail system
after a programmable number of days. Since you
may have your messages in email and in the
voicemail system, this eliminates the need to
cleanout old messages in thevoicemail system.
When a new message comes into your voicemail box,
it will be sent to your email and remain in your
voicemail box. If you do not want your message
waiting light to come on with new messages,
select this. If you want to hear the caller ID
along with your messages select yes. The
envelope message plays the number of new and old
messages and the time and date the message was
left.
34Call Forwarding
Your extension can be forwarded to another
number. This can be setup for Unconditional,
Busy, No Answer or Unavailable
Unconditional Forwarding This always forwards
all Incoming calls to the number in the box.
Choose the PSTN Option to send calls to a regular
phone number like home or a cell phone. To
forward to another extension select the extension
from the drop down list. To turn forwarding off,
choose the disabled option.
If you choose to forward unconditional, the
options can be enabled and disabled from your
phone by dialing the codes for forward on (91),
forward off (90) or change forward number (92).
If you wish to use the busy, no answer or
unavailable forwarding, you cannot change it from
the phone. Only Unconditional forwarding can be
enabled or disabledfrom your phone.
35Follow-Me
To set up your Follow-Me settings, select Numbers
and settings from the Follow-Me menu. The Follow
me feature will attempt to call an alternate list
of numbers if callers are not able to reach you
at your extension.
Follow-Me Options Play an optional message
notifying callers that the system will attempt to
reach you. Record the callers name and play it
to you for screening calls. You will be offered
the opportunity to press 1 to accept or 2 to
reject the call. Play an unreachable message to
the caller. Setup allows to create a list of
numbers for Follow-Me to call. Set the priority
number for calling additional numbers. Setting
them all the same means they will be called at
the same time. Setting the priorities to
different values like 1, 2, 3 will result in
trying 1 first, 2 second and 3 third. The Use
check box must be selected to enable calling a
number.

36My Phone Settings
My Phone Settings allow you to change how the
buttons are programmed on your phone. You can add
speed dial numbers, monitor the busy status of up
to 5 other phones and add feature buttons
There are 20 soft key buttonsin the top button
mapping section on IPitomy IP550 phones. They
are grouped in groups of 5 with a more key to
display the next group.

37My Schedule
Each extension comes with a schedule. The
Schedule is a way to send your calls to alternate
destinations based upon date and time. This
feature requires that the schedule feature is
enabled. You should consult your System
Administrator before using this feature.

- The IPitomy Outlook Dialer automatically detects
contacts and telephone numbers in outlook. It
displays a toolbar in Outlook to give quick
access to its functions and allows you to place
phone calls to any contact or number in outlook.
39IPitomy Desktop Call Manager (DCM) IPitomy
Desktop Call Manager gives IPitomy users powerful
desktop control of their business communications
environment. With DCM you can see at a glance
who is on the phone or away from their desk.
Integrated presence management allows users to be
more productive. The Integrated chat feature
allows another channel of communications with
co-workers while they are on a call. Configurabl
e for Standard Users/Attendant - View the status
