  • 1957 Kremlin launched Sputnikmade US feel

    (ARPA)

    dialup connection1st Wide Area Network (WAN)
  • 1966-67 ARPANET, MIT, RAND, and Natl. Physics
    Lab UK came together into an idea that would
    connect several agencies
