2What is NovaChip
- Ultra-thin polymer modified asphalt
- surface treatment.
- Combines open graded hot mix asphalt
- with emulsified asphalt polymer-modified
- membrane.
3Features Benefits
- Superior bond to the existing surface
- Increases skid resistance, reduces noise
- Ultra-thin application eliminates the need for
utility adjustments. - Minimal traffic disruption, requires a single
lane closure - Expected life cycle of up to ten years with crack
sealing.
4Features Benefits (cont..)
- Does not affect overhead clearances on bridges,
overpasses, signs, and other structures. - Reduces hydroplaning and reduces spray on wet
roadways.
