3ELECTRONIC RESOURCES TEAM (PROJECT) REPORT
- Meeting quality standards for all or our work,
including cataloging electronic monographs and
maintaining Serials Solutions file loads and
error corrections. - Most processes are documented many are
flowcharted. - Completed two special electronic monograph
projects - Cataloged 388 volumes of Methods in Enzymology
- Ordered and loaded some 1800 Spie records from
OCLC - Participating in Innovative Millennium Release
2005 Limited Edition beta test. Benefits - More sophisticated normalization rules for loads
- Ability to customize public link information

11Serials Cancellations Project
- Received requests to cancel over 1500 serial
titles. - Project members Helen Q., Sue S., Alma G., Lena
G., Debbie W., Steve B. (Consultant). - Received all lists by Oct. 4th work started
Oct. 5th. - Progress
- - Original plan was to update all records
(order , check-in, check-in card, etc.) and
send the data to suppliers when canceling. - - Plan revised because progress was slow. Now
only order info is updated and sent to suppliers.
Check-in data will be edited later. - Next steps
- - Monitor progress for Nov. 1st deadline.
- - Revise plan as needed.
