- TARE assumes an integral role in the management
of unresectable HCC and has been validated by
numerous studies.

- TARE is safe and effective in the treatment of
unresectable HCC, as it has a safer toxicity
profile than chemoembolization, longer
time-to-progression and a greater ability to
downsize and/ or bridge patients to liver
transplant.

- TARE has better health-related quality-of-life
metrics toxicity profile as compared to TACE.

- While there is still a lot of debate going on
about which treatment modality is better for
patients with unresectable HCC, several studies
and clinical trials have shown that TARE is a
valid and effective alternative.
