Who We Are
  • A diverse, student-led, non-profit organization
  • Project Suyana aims to assimilate students
    from all areas of the undergraduate and graduate
    colleges who share a deeply rooted interest in
    medicine and global health care. Students will
    collaborate throughout the 2007-2008 school year
    to attain the appropriate financial and medical
    resources that would assist in the projects
    success while gaining a first hand experience in
    global health.

Long Term Project Goals
  • Construction of Casa de Espera make it an
    affiliate branch of the Central Hospital.
  • Create a long standing Public Health Awareness
    program that could be utilized by local public
    and social workers in both urban and rural
    regions of Puno.
  • Establish a stronger English curriculum within
    local public schools and orphanages.
