  • Get Chanilles initials on OGS forms
  • Pre-lims (PhD) scheduled no more than 1 semester
    after coursework completion
  • Does not require notification to OGS
  • Request to hold finals submitted 10 days prior
    to OGS deadline or exam
  • Submit thesis/dissertation to committee and DH
    at least 1 week prior to defense
  • Student should download checklist and signature
    page from OGS website and have chair sign it
    before prelim is held
  • Minimum of one week is required for review of
    thesis/dissertation by the department for
    required signature(s) prior to submission to the
    thesis clerk. Documents submitted with less than
    one week may be refused.
  • Must be enrolled in seminar (BMEN 681) every
    semester
  • Continuous enrollment

  • GPR below 3.0 for semester, cumulative or degree
    plan GPR

  • ONE semester (not including summer) is allowed
    to raise GPR to above 3.0
  • if not corrected after one semester, student
    will be removed
  • Not allowed to hold any type of departmental
    support
  • May not participate in an internship
