Why and how:
This game was inspired by the "Bowling" game within the collection found on the original Wii Sports disc that came with the original Wii Console. The controls are almost exactly the same.
To throw the ball, thrust your mouse forward. If you're using a gyroscopic mouse, use its Move gesture as you pull down and back with your arm and then swing forth and up to release the ball from your grip.
After you've thrown the ball, always remember to continue using the Move gesture until your arm falls back to your side, or the next swing will most likely yield an unwanted result. To simulate an arm drop with a standard mouse, just pull it closer to you right after you've thrusted it away from you.
This version of JayBowl does not allow for gutterballs, but "JayBowl 4" will, so stay tuned. I intentionally disallowed gutterballs to help encourage positivity amongst players of this first title.
As more and more releases roll out to PowerShow, do expect more and more options for player customization of elements and characters. The final version of the game is still being developed, so until that happens, do not expect many updates and sequels to come out here. There ARE many sequels already released elsewhere, but because of all the information we have to enter on this site, it might be a while before we're able to get the amazing "JayBowl 2 - Still Standing" and more awesome titles published to PowerShow.
