Children spend more than half of their day time at schools and they need to carry packed food to school. Under such circumstances, parents have to keep in mind the health of their kids and should give them food items which fulfill the requirements of the haccp system. If the kids have to stay after school for some extra-curricular activities, it is not always possible for them to return home for snacks. So, parents should send them to school with nutritious and healthy after-school snack that fulfils the norms of the haccp system. When the kids return late after the busy after-school activities, the dinner is served late or children tend to eat a few times throughout the evening. The food served should be properly refrigerated and reheated before serving.
