    complexion, Blue eyes , Dark brown wavy hair,
    Excellent teeth
  • Sober steady going woman

  • 30 September 1888
  • 45 years old at death
  • Pale, light grey eyes, curly brown hair
  • Very quite woman, who stayed out late at night
    and did cleaning for Jews

Catherine Eddowes
  • 30 September 1888
  • Intelligent, scholarly woman who had a fierce
    temper.
  • Suffered from Brights disease
  • 5 foot, hazel eyes, auburn hair

  • 9 November 1888
  • 5' 7" tall and stout. She had blonde hair, blue
    eyes and a fair complexion
  • "much superior to that of most persons in her

  • Eddy was born in 1864 to Prince Albert Edward and
    Princess Alexandra.
  • By most reports, Eddy was a "slow" child and grew
    up to be a rather dull adult.
  • According to Stowell, Eddy was suffering from
    syphilis, contracted during a shore party in the
    West Indies, and that this infection drove Eddy
    insane and compelled him to commit the murders.
  • His family agrees.

  • Considered by many to be the number one suspect
    in the case. Interestingly enough, there is very
    little evidence with which to implicate his
    guilt.
  • He committed Suicide
  • Why kill himself??
  • Two prominent possibilities arise -- first, the
    aforementioned implications of his homosexuality.
    Still, only conjecture, but perhaps his vice was
    discovered and he couldn't bear the
    embarrassment?

    could not have committed them if you ask me

  • Saw Mary Kellys body and said it was his most
    gruesome memory
  • Thought Emma Smith was the first victim

My Theory
  • I think that the real murderer was Joseph Barnett
  • He was directly involved with Mary Jane Kelly
  • The evidence against him makes the most sense
