• Received an appropriation during the 2003
  Legislative Session to plan for the replacement
  of the MMIS.
• Released a Request for Proposal in early 2004 for
  a contractor to assist with the planning
  activities (requirements definition, cost-benefit
  analysis preparation, and preparation of the
  Request for Proposal for the actual MMIS
  replacement).
• Hired Fox Systems, Inc. as the Planning Phase
  Contractor.

• Release of RFP for Design, Development and
  Implementation in January 2005
• Will seek an appropriation during the 2005
  Legislative Session
• Proposals will be due in late Spring, with
  contract work to begin in July 2005.
