tool to manage the coordination of freights for
shipping, booking, and invoicing within and
outside of Horizon Lines resulted in more
employee head count and errors. Approach Design
a powerful, robust application that allows end
users requesting freight information to request
shipping, booking, and invoicing. Results Custome
rs (Sams Club, WalMart, Lowes, Proctor Gamble,
Toyota, Honda, and the U.S. Military) are able to
send requests via a simple file which is fed into
the application tool which converts the
information and feeds it into a database
seamlessly. Customers can request shipping
services on their own. The solution provides for
more accuracy and less employee resources.

automate ordering and shipping processes, and
improve productivity and sales of the company.
Customers have a clean interface (web site) from
which to view products at various angles,
close-ups, and other views. Customers can order
products online and ship them from the U.S.,
