• Although historians see some of the parallels in
  history, they do not understand fully
• Why?
• When?
• Purpose?

1. Why Does History Repeat Itself?

• There are two players in history
• 1) God
• His Will absolute, unchanging, eternal.
• But it cannot be done by God Himself.
• 2) Human Beings
• Human participation is essential.
• But, human beings often fail.

If human being fail, then Gods will cannot be
accomplished. But it cannot be abandoned. God is
left with no choice but to try again. Therefore,
history repeats itself because man so often
fails.

2. When Does History Repeat Itself?

• History repeats itself at times when God is
  preparing to send the Messiah. Therefore, to
  understand exactly when history repeats itself,
  we must first understand the central history in
  the providence of restoration because it is their
  responsibility to establish the Foundation for
  the Messiah.

3. What is the Purpose for Historical Parallels?

• To prepare every nation and culture for the
  coming of the Messiah. Although the Messiah will
  be born to one specific nation, his mission is
  not for any one people. He comes for the sake of
  whole world.

Axial Periods in Human History

• Therefore, when history is ready to receive the
  Messiah, it will be like a pregnant woman ready
  to deliver her child. There will be a flurry of
  activities in all spheres of life (religion,
  cultural, science, politics, art, medicine,
  etc.) in both the Central and Correlate
  Histories. The purpose is to prepare for the
  birth and worldwide mission of the Messiah.

Conclusion

• We have seen the desperate heart of God in the
  affairs of human history.
• God has not abandoned, ignored, or been separate
  from human history.
• He is a caring and loving parent who will not
  violate His principle to prevent man from
  falling, nor to restore him. We cannot see God
  in history, because we did not know His
  Principles.
