My Goal

• In this presentation I will try and convince the
  reader of Bigfoots existence.
• I will provide websites with photos, audio and
  video evidence
• I will also provide a brief explanation to what
  this creature is.

Introduction on Bigfoot

• There have been Bigfoot citings in every state
  except Hawaii.
• During National Public Radios Talk of the
  Nation Science Friday with Ira Flatow, Jane
  Goodall stated Well now, you'll be amazed when I
  tell you that I'm sure that they exist.
• Bigfoot is said to be a descendant of an extinct
  creature named the GIGANTOPITHECUS, which existed
  from as long ago as five million years

What is a Giganto?

• It was an ape that lived as long ago as 5 million
  years ago to as recent as 100 thousand years ago
  in parts of China, India and Vietnam.
• Scientist noticed when studying fossils of this
  creature that it ate the same things as a panda
  bear, mainly bamboo.
• Its cause of extinction is said to be the
  arrival of humans, competing with other panda
  bears and the die-off periods of the bamboo.

• This is a model of what is supposed to be a
  Giganto.

Bigfoot relatives

• Bigfoot is not the only giant hairy monster in
  the world many other countries have there own
  Bigfoot such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Scotland,
  Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, China,Tibet, Canada,
  and Australia.
• All of these countries have reported sightings of
  the creature

Video Evidence

• The best video evidence that exists is the
  Patterson/Gimlin film recorded in 1967.
• - Its one of the top most played videos on the
  internet underneath the assassination of JFK and
  Its the most studied Bigfoot video. It has been
  studied by many scientists throughout the world.
  Studying the way it walks and the anatomy of the
  body makes it hard to say that this film is a
  hoax. Nobody has recovered any evidence of a
  possible suit that could have used in this film.
  Ive watched this film many times and if it is a
  hoax than its the greatest hoax of all time and
  Patterson and Gimlin should have been in show
  business.

Patterson/Gimlin Film

• In October of 1967, Roger Patterson and Robert
  Gimlin set out on horseback and explored the
  wilderness regions of northern California.
  Searching mainly in the area around Bluff Creek
  because it was their that Bigfoot prints were
  found years before.
• Finally on October 20, they spotted a female
  bigfoot. Patterson jumped of his horse and ran
  towards the creature while filming then stopped
  to film it walking quickly across a sandbar into
  the woods while Gimlin stood and watched, rifle
  in hand.
• Before their journey they agreed that under no
  circumstances would they shoot a Bigfoot unless
  in self-defense.

Analysis of the film

• Ray Crowe, president of the Western Bigfoot
  Society in Portland, Ore. says that the image
  captured in the film has a fluid motion. Its a
  wild creature of nature.
• Grover Krantz, a Washington State university
  professor of anthropology says in an interview
  Theres simply no way to fit a man in that suit.
• Cliff Cook, a Bigfoot enthusiast argues that the
  film is a hoax. He says that when certain frames
  are magnified, one can see a man made object
  dangling on the right side of its hip. Maybe some
  kind of fastener.

Scientific Analysis of Film

• Professor Krantz of Washington State university
  analyzed the Patterson/Gimlin film and noted
  that the creature had a height of six feet six
  inches, weighed around 500lbs,had shoulders over
  28 inches wide and was probably female.
• As for it being a man in a monkey suit, he stated
  a padded suit would make a persons arms stick
  out, rather than hang down, like the figures
  do.

Summary

• There have been too many sightings around the
  world to say that a Bigfoot like creature
  doesnt exist
• There is scientific evidence that creature like
  this has existed before
• The Patterson/Gimlin film and many other provided
  films support Bigfoots existence.
• Its only a matter of time before we get another
  film like the Patterson/Gimlin or even a body of
  the legendary folklore known as BIGFOOT!
