- You must be committed to the offense.
- You must do 7-on-7.
- Plan for the red zone and the blitz.
- Be prepared to change the way you game plan and
practice.

- Install the offense in 8 practices (1 week).
- Use more individual and combo periods.
- Emphasis is on drills, technique, and execution.
- Use team periods to install screens.
- Start by teaching the offense against
- 42 / 33 C-3.

group/combo periods. - Longer team periods with starters.
- Expand the defenses we work against.
- Alternate the fronts/coverages similar to our
in-season structure. - Begin to have limited scrimmages / 7-on-7.
- Correction of errors and personnel decisions
become a focal point.

- Emphasis in team periods is on perimeter runs,
screens, and bootlegs.
