WI 5848. (a) A draft plan and update shall be
prepared and circulated for review and comment
for at least 30 days to representatives of
stakeholder interests and any interested party
who has requested a copy of such plans.

WI 5848. b) The mental health board established
pursuant to Section 5604 shall conduct a public
hearing on the draft plan and annual updates at
the close of the 30day comment period required
by subsection (a). Each adopted plan and update
shall include any substantive written
recommendations for revisions. The adopted plan
or update shall summarize and analyze the
recommended revisions. The mental health board
shall review the adopted plan or update and make
recommendations to the county mental health
department for revisions.

  Plan February 2, 2006
• Board of Supervisors approves Plan February
  7, 2006
• Submit Plan to State February 13, 2006
• Proposed time for State approval of the CSS
  Plan is 90 days. Implementation is estimated to
  begin in late spring or early summer.

The Department of Behavioral Health would like to

feedback that was instrumental in forming the
foundation of the CSS Plan. Additionally, a
special thank you is extended to the work group
chairs and members who utilized this public
feedback to develop the CSS Plan and the various
program proposals for each specified age range.
