Grading
  • Homework is given 3-5 times per week. If it was
important enough for me to assign it, its
important enough for you to do it! Spend quality
    time on it.
  • Labs/Projects will be worth 20-100 points,
depending on the time involved in the lab itself
    and the write-up requirements.
  • Quizzes are a series of short answer, fill-in,
multiple choice and matching designed to keep you
on track. They are worth 35-75 points each
    depending on length.
  • Tests are generally multiple choice format with a
short answer section. They are designed to
assess your concept understanding, improve your
testing skills as well as prepare you for state
    tests.

Late Work
  • Your assignments are due at the BEGINNING of a
class period. If you dont have them completed
when you walk in the door, they are late.
  • Late work is to be completed in a detention after
    school or during lunch.
  • Completed the day it was due 5 deduction
  • Turned in the following day 15 deduction
  • Turned in two days late 25 deduction
  • Late work will not be accepted after the third
day, as the class has likely moved beyond that
point and it will only keep you further behind.
