Pilot Plan TY 06
  • PRIOR TO PHASE 1
  • This pilot program is for technical service
    Warrant Officer Candidates.
  • Aviation Warrant Officer Candidates will continue
    to go to the AC WOCS at Ft. Rucker.
  • An aggressive recruiting campaign will be
    conducted. Predetermination packets will be
    completed and forwarded to the proponents thru
    NGB.
  • Prospective Candidate will be an E5 that has
    completed PLDC.
  • Prospective Candidate is enrolled on ATRRS
    (school code 020) in PH 1 WOCS, PH 2A WOCS under
    the NGBs school code (964) with the location of
    your States choice (One of the thirteen States
    that are conducting PH 2A of the pilot program),
    and PH 2B under NGBs school code (964) with the
    location of Camp Atterbury, IN.

Pilot Plan TY 06
  • Warrant Officers (CW2 and above) will be TACs in
    Phase 2A and 2B.
  • Must be TA-ITC qualified.
  • TACs will attend a four week orientation course
    at Ft. Rucker while the following WOCS classes
    are being conducted
  • WOCS Class 06-04 10 Jan 06 to 8 Feb 06
  • WOCS Class 06-05 1 Feb 06 to 2 Mar 06
  • WOCS Class 06-06 6 Feb 06 to 7 Mar 06
  • WOCS Class 06-07 21 Feb 06 to 21 Mar 06
  • WOCS Class 06-08 7 Mar 06 to 4 Apr 06
  • This TAC orientation course is for the pilot
    program only. Those TACs that attend, will train
    the next iteration of TACs, in TY-06, for future
    classes (right seat ride), or the future TACs can
    continue to go to the orientation course at Ft.
    Rucker.
  • TACs will attend in ADSW status.
  • Must support Phase 2B in TY-06.
  • USAR will attempt to place a additional WO TAC at
    each of the PH 2A sites.

Pilot Plan TY 06
  • Instructors will be Officers (0-2 and above) ,
    Warrant Officers (CW2 and above) and NCOs (E7 and
    above) that meet height/weight, and APFT
    standards.
  • Completion of TA-ITC.
  • OCS Title XI certified (Maximum use of those OCS
    instructors that are already OCS Title XI
    certified will be used).
  • Future training may include Combat lifesaver, but
    not for TY-06.

Pilot Plan TY 06
  • PHASE 1 (JAN MAR 06) Distance Learning
  • Prerequisite is a completed predetermination
    packet. However, due to extenuating circumstances
    this will not be enforced for the pilot program.
    An endorsement from the CCWO will suffice to
    enroll the soldier in ATRRS.
  • Distant learning done at home or Readiness
    Center.
  • Prospective Candidate will drill at the
    Readiness Center
  • during the Jan, Feb and Mar MUTA to work solely
    on PH I.
  • Prospective Candidate WILL NOT be assessed into
    the States OCS program, but will, however, be
    attached to the home States RTI.
  • Prospective Candidate is mentored by the State
    CCWO and their progress is monitored by the
    States CCWO representative.
  • Continue with the FRB process. The prospective
    Candidate needs a Class 2 physical, an interim
    secret clearance, FRBd and accessed as a WOC.

Pilot Plan TY 06
  • Phase 2A - 5 MUTA 4 IDT (APR AUG 06)
  • Conducted in AL, CT, IN, KS, CA, AZ, TX, MD, MN,
    PA, SC, OH, and IA.
  • Minimum of 5 candidates per class.
  • TAC/instructor ratio is 110 students.
  • Prerequisite is predetermination, completion of
    Phase 1, and a complete FRB package with
    appointment to WOC.
  • ADSW is used for the Friday before the MUTA, or
    MUTA 5.
  • Separate classrooms, billeting and mess than OCS.
  • Phase 2A students are considered Intermediate
    Candidates.

  • Phase 2B - 16 day AT (15-30 SEP 06)
  • Camp Atterbury, IN
  • Approximately 40 ARNG 20 USAR Candidates
    attending. Could be twice that number.
  • Phase 2B students are considered Senior
    Candidates.
  • Indiana will submit their support requirements at
    the next workshop.
  • All States and USAR be prepared to support their
    needs.

TY 07 AND BEYOND
  • An intense recruiting campaign should be
    conducted in the Summer.
  • PH 1 will be conducted Oct-Dec.
  • Each State that has a minimum of five students
    can conduct PH 2A from Jan-May.
  • Each Region can conduct PH 2B that will run
    concurrently with OCS PH 1. This is done to
    minimize additional money needed to support our
    program. Most of the Instructor, Log and Admin
    support needed will be at OCS PH 1. To be
    conducted in the June-July time period.
