Recent developments

• OHCHR continued to support the ICC representative
  in her work for the ICC and NHRIs in the HRC, TBs
  and SPs
• OHCHR, as ex-officio WG member, gave advice and
  guidance on ICC incorporation, notably through
  ICC Statute
• OHCHR is ready to support the ICC with 36,900 USD
  
• UDHR60 initiatives co-funded by OHCHR
• Ecuador, Panama, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Sri
  Lanka, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Togo, Uganda
• Total amount 143,300 USD
• OHCHR engages with the Indian NHRC for the
  updating and maintenance of www.nhri.net
• Production of Guidance Note for NHRIs on
  Transitional Justice

• Workshop to strengthen the capacity of the
  Mauritius Human Rights Commission to handle
  complaints concerning the police (13-15 October
  2008)
• Bangladesh
• Provided legal advice on draft law to set up NHRI
• Provided input to UNDP/APF mission for the
  establishment of an NHRI
