  about the holiday?

• One way in which people find out about holidays
  is through a travel brochure.
• Many people also read about holidays on Travel
  Agents websites.
• Travel Agents are clever, especially with what
  they write to describe a holiday

Task 1

• With travel agent task 1, highlight all the
  adjectives used to describe the holiday and
  facilities.
• Think about why they have chosen these words?
  How do they make the holiday sound.... Appealing?
  Dull? Fun? Exciting?
• Different holiday adverts will be aimed at
  different audiences. Can you explain what this
  means and how it is done?

• You will be creating your own holiday brochure
  page, like the ones you have seen.
• You will need to include all of the things we
  have just discussed and make it appealing to the
  audience.

• Design your holiday brochure page.
• Use Microsoft Publisher, if you do not have
  Publisher then you can use Word.

• When you have completed the task use the Self
  Assessment sheet to mark how you think you have
  done. (This must be done seriously, I will be
  checking!)
