• A car sharing program for students, faculty and

• Allows program participants the flexibility and
  convenience of having a vehicle at their disposal
  without actually owning/leasing

How Does Program Work?

• Membership agreement between zipcar and user
• User must be 18 years or older
• Member is issued a bar coded zipcard
• Zipcar provides the vehicles, reservation system,
  fuel and insurance
• Member makes reservation online or by phone
• Member uses Zipcard to unlock reserved vehicle
• Vehicle returned to original location and renter
  is charged for the time used

• Phase 1
• Coral Gables campus
• three vehicles in close proximity to freshmen
  resident students (Hecht Stanford)
• Miller School of Medicine and RSMAS campuses will
  have dedicated zipcar parking spaces

• annual membership fee - 35
• hourly rates 7-10 per hour
