  • Risk
  • Risk expresses the chances of some event
    happening and usually refers to the probability

  • Employees Duties (The Safety, Health Welfare at
    Work Act 2005)
  • Employees (including full or part-time, permanent
    or temporary, regardless of any employment or
    contractual arrangement they may have) have
    duties under the above Act. They must
  • Comply with relevant laws and protect their own
    safety and health, as well as the safety and
    health of anyone who may be affected by their
    acts or omissions at work.
  • Ensure that they are not under the influence of
    any intoxicant to the extent that they could be a
    danger to themselves or others while at work.
  • Cooperate with their employer with regard to
    safety, health and welfare at work.

    endanger their safety or health or that of anyone

    by their employer.

  • Report any defects in the place of work,
    equipment etc. which might endanger safety and
    health.

  • It is company policy that no employee will be
    allowed to drive a company vehicle while under
    the influence of any intoxicant or illegal drug.
  • The company reserve the right to refuse to allow
    an employee to drive a company vehicle if there
    is a reasonable suspicion that the employee may
    be under the influence of any intoxicant or
    illegal drug.
  • Furthermore in line with current legislation the
    company may require an employee to submit to any
    appropriate, reasonable and proportionate tests
    for intoxicants by, or under the supervision of,
    a registered medical practitioner who is a
    competent person.

  • Drivers are reminded that they are subject to the
    Rules of the Road while driving company
    vehicles.
  • Drivers must observe all speed limits, road
    signs, traffic lights and any other road
    restrictions permanent or temporary, MAX
    Speed 80km/h.
  • All drivers must comply with the provisions of
    the Road Traffic Act 1994 and all its
    amendments. Drivers are responsible for all road
    traffic violations and may be subject to internal
    disciplinary procedure for committing such
    violations. Remember you are responsible for your
    vehicle on the road so you must ensure that it is
    road worthy and in the case if loaded is not
    overweight. You must also ensure that the vehicle
    is taxed and insured.

    full skip at a time.
  • In the case of 6 cu. yrd. skips, 2 can be carried
    if the bottom skip is not loaded above the water
    mark and the load is stable an fit to transport
  • 2 mini skips can be carried one behind the other
    if the truck is suitable.
  • Full skips of mixed size should not be carried
    together.

    with serious consequences.

    Materials Recycling.
