Big Brother/Big Sister Cameras

• There is a fairly new, high-tech surveillance
  camera out called the Big Brother or Big Sister
  Camera. These cameras are mostly used in England
  and America, but they are popping up all over the
  nation. As of July 2004, 18 states had Big
  Brother Cameras installed.

• Monitor traffic conditions and protect homeland
  security
• Catch drivers who drive too fast and run red
  lights.
• Photograph license plates, the driver,
  passengers, and anything in unoccupied seats.

How They Work

• The Big Brother Cameras are positioned at the
  corners of intersections on poles. The cameras
  point inward so they can photograph cars passing
  through the intersection.
