• Start of building- 700 B.C., end of building-
  early 1400s.
• Lots of work force
• Used spikes and rocks to build. (hand made)

• Tourism
• Historical/ ancient parts

Tourism and how it has impacted china

• Over millions of people visit every year
• Tourism has conflicted destroying and closing
  wall
• The only reason people come to china is to walk
  the wall

How the great wall is being destroyed.

• People have taken it apart to build homes
• Weathering plays big roll in destruction
• Less and less visible from space
• Very old and brittle

Should people be able to walk on the wall

• It attracts a lot of money for government
• It could get destroyed completely if not saved
  now
• Some very high quality parts should be preserved
  I think.
