My Routine Trip

• Now I study at the university, which is in the

Example 1

• I usually leave my home to my working place
  at about 740 am. It is not a short distance
  between my home and working place. I need take
  overground and underground tube to my office.
  Batong Line is the overground one and air
  conditioned. It runs every 3 minutes at peak time
  and have an average journey time of 30 minutes
  with passengers packed like sardines. After
  getting off the Batong Line I changed to the Line
  1 tube which is the underground tube. Some of the
  train in Line 1 are not air conditioned, it is so
  terrible in these hot days. I found a lady beside
  me fainted because of the heat after twenty
  minites journy. I companied her got off the
  carriage and asked the tube staff take care of
  her. For no time admit, I continued my journey.
  When I got to my office, I thought is it so
  expensive of the time to survive in this big
  city.

I work at a software company that is located near
Fuxingmen, Xicheng District.
I work at a software company that is located near
Fu Xing men, Xicheng district. My home is in
Hai-dian District, its about 12 kilometre from
my workplace. There are many ways to went from
my home to my office. It takes almost one hour by
bus to get to my workplace from my home. Although
it is long journey, The transport is
convenient. There are three direct bus service.
No 716, No 732 and No 723 with air-condition,
the fee of No 716 is very cheap, only 1 Yuan,
but No 732 or No 723 are 2 to 3 Yuans. I can also
choose to take the subway to save time, but
it more expensive and I need to take bus
to get to the subway station. I take subway only
when I got up late. It spends me about 45 minute
and 6 Yuan. The most expensive way to go to work
is taxi. Its really expensive, but not save me
much time actually. It always cost over 20 Yuan
because of the traffic, so I seldom get to work
by taxi. If the weather is fine and I am full of
energy, I prefer to go to work by bike. On my way
to the workplace, I pass many university, the
National Library, the Purple Bamboo Park and
Diaoyu Tai. It is also a good form of physical
exercises for me, too.

• Read the following text, imitating the assignment

• I was lucky enough to find a very nice place to
  live in soon after I arrived. The rent's only 45
  pounds a week, plus my share of the bills. It's a
  room in a flat in a high-rise block. There are
  three other tenants and though we each have our
  own rooms, we share the sitting room, kitchen and
  bathroom. The rooms are quite well furnished and
  there's everything I need in the kitchen--except
  a coffee machine. There's a television in the
  sitting room but no telephone. That should save
  me quite a bit of money. I'll have to get used to
  writing letters instead! I haven't yet spent much
  time with the other tenants but I don't foresee
  any problems.
• The block is in rather a rough neighbourhood but
  our next-door neighbour seems a nice guy. He's
  rather quiet but very helpful. He's already told
  me where to find the best pubs and so on. There
  are a few shops nearby so I can do most of my
  shopping locally, but I'll have to go into town
  for most other things. It's only about twenty
  minutes' walk from the town centre which is
  just as well since the buses don't seem to run
  very often!
