• Highlights of Recent Activity
• Brief list of most recent meetings/activities
  (e.g. WG presentations at conferences and
  symposia)
• The last official meeting was held in Paris
  during CIGRE 2014
• We have established several important benchmarks
  (Very large effort)
• For traditional power system analysis IEEE39 and
  new large realistic grid
• All generator controls for IEEE39 have been
  upgraded
• For wind integration small system, large
  systems, combination of Type III and Type IV wind
  generators
• For GMD studies
• For PMU with EMTP
• For a distribution system (IEEE390)
• The progress and coordination with members has
  been much slower. The problem is not simple and
  requires meticulous verification and maintenance
  of test cases. The test cases are complex. Using
  various software packages is complicated for the
  verification of results. Organizations are
  promising to deliver work, but it often takes too
  much time. I will now change the approach and
  simply prepare the report and circulate for
  comments.

• Future Activity
• A meeting should be planned in November 2015
• Start to finalize the descriptions of benchmarks
  and report
• Other Items
• The task of this group is complex and requires
  time to complete. I am trying to increase the
  contributions of members and availability. The
  task is important and I will work hard to
  complete.
