• The silver coin which weighed 11.5 gms and made
  of silver. No other money (Denarius) should be
  offered to God

• Wild tree growing in desert or water scarce
  areas. see flat top.
• The wood lasts for centuries not affected by
  white ants or pests
• Very hard to work with tools because it is
  knotty.
• But the Holy ark was made of it.

Golden Altar of incense

• It stood in front of the veil before
• The Most Holy Place. Aaron must burn incense on
  it morning and evening

The glass sea or laver

• A water tank about 10 to 15 ft. in dia.The priest
  must wash their hands and feet before they enter
  the Holy place.It was called a sea of glass
  because the bronze used for making it was
  obtained by melting the shining plates which the
  women used as mirrors

Golden lamp stand

• Made of pure gold sheets beaten into the shape of
  a lamp. See the work- manship.
• Almond flowers and fruits alternated. Olive oil
  was used for burning

Other parts of the tabernacle

• For other parts of the tabernacle different types
  of trees were used
• For the pillars strong oak trees were used
• For the lining of the walls of the Holy and most
  Holy place Cedar tree from Lebanon was imported.
  Exquisite carvings could made on it. The Holy ark
  also was made of wood and covered with gold sheet

• in which the tables of ten commandments were said
  to be kept.
• It is believed that a golden bowl containing
  manna and the stick of Aaron also were kept
  there. No one knows about the present location of
  it.
