• Women with periodontal disease are 8x more likely
  to deliver prematurely
• Over 85 of women who delivered before 32 weeks
  had periodontal disease

• Preterm baby costs are 10x higher (almost

• 10 of the babies born to a mom receiving
  Medicaid or FAMIS MOMS were premature
