Glorifying God

• I Corinthians 619-20
• What? know ye not that your body is the temple
  of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have
  of God, and ye are not your own? (20) For ye are
  bought with a price therefore glorify God in
  your body, and in your spirit, which are Gods.

• The body of Christ on earth is composed of local
  congregations.

• The church is successful when it glorifies God.
• If it fails to do so, it is unsuccessful.
• Regardless of how many members it has
• Regardless of how much money is given.
• What does God require the church to do to glorify
  Him?
• Bible gives four answers.

• In simple terms, the mission of our life is to
  glorify God, gain heaven, and help others to do
  likewise.
• The mission of the church is no different.
• Lets carefully chart our course wisely spend
  our energies glorifying God, it will pay great
  rewards in the end.
