The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers We make no difference between any of His messengers and they say We hear and obey, our Lord! And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. Surely Allah does not do injustice to the weight of an atom, and if it is a good deed He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.How will it be, then, when We bring from every people a witness and bring you as a witness against these? And when it is said to them Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger, you will see the hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust. But how will it be when misfortune befalls them on account of what their hands have sent before? We sent not a messenger but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Forgiving, Most Merciful. Will they not then ponder on the Quran? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much discrepancy.And if any tidings, whether of safety or fear, come unto them, they noise it abroad, whereas if they had referred it to the Messenger and to such of them as are in authority, those among them who are able to think out the matter would have known it. Those who reject Faith and do wrong,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any way-Except the road of hell, wherein they will abide for ever. And that is ever easy for Allah. O mankind! Do you not know that to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth He chastises whom He pleases and forgives whom He pleases and Allah has power over all things.O Messenger! O Messenger! deliver what bas been revealed to you from your Lord and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and Allah will protect you from the people surely Allah will not guide those who reject the Faith.Say "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that comes to thee from thy Lord, that increases in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Thou will find the vehement in hostility to those who believe (to be) the Jews and the idolaters. And you will find the nearest in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say Lo! We are Christians. Nothing is incumbent on the Messenger but to deliver the message, and Allah knows what you proclaim and what you hide. Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,- fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith for their oaths are nothing to them that thus they may be restrained.Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first to assault you? Do you fear them? But the Messenger and those who believe with him strive hard with their wealth and their lives. Such are they for whom are the good things. And of the wandering Arabs there are they who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and look on their payments as pious gifts to bring them nearer to Allah and obtain the prayers of the Messenger. And strive for Allah with the Endeavour which is His right. He has chosen you and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship the faith of your father Abraham (is yours). So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah. And they say "What sort of a Messenger is this, who eats food, and walks through the streets? Why has not an angel been sent down unto him, to be a warner with him?See what kinds of comparisons they make for thee! What! do they not consider how Allah originates the creation, then reproduces it?
