Where is a preposition located in a sentence?
  • A preposition is a word that comes at the
    beginning of a short group of words called a
    prepositional phrase.
  • Prepositional phrases always follow the same
    pattern they always begin with a preposition
    and end with a noun, an adjective noun, or a
    pronoun
  • A preposition is never followed by a verb
