AQ Review Process 2008
  • Dave Addison
  • August 2008 Application Support Updates

2
Background
  • The AQ Process is an annual series of events
which culminates in the recalculation of the
annual quantity for all NDM and DM meter points,
    effective from 1st October.
  • You will be aware from previous years that this
is a major transactional event as it requires
processing an extraordinary volume of data which,
whilst we are starting now, will continue through
    September and into October.
  • In order to mitigate and minimise any disruption
to the file transactions, billing and the
provision of data information services, an
xoserve project team has been formed to manage
the challenges and impacts, mitigate the risks
and monitor progress to facilitate a successful
    conclusion.
  • We have also carried out a number of enhancements
to our systems not least the UK Link Technology
refresh so that they are running at optimal
processing capability during this year's AQ
    Review Process.

Phase 2 Impacts
  • 23rd August 26th August
  • There will be a delay of around 4 hours (from the
timetabled routine) in sending the TRF files to
    Shippers on the 26th August
  • IAD and ODS information will not reflect the
latest data. This position will be resolved as
part of the catch up plan.
  • We will be sending out more communications nearer
the time which will identify any potential
impacts that you may find on the other dates
