Regulations 2010 - The Conservation of Habitats Species
Regulations 2012 - Member state -Maintain or restore European
protected habitats and species listed in the
Annexes at a favourable conservation status as
defined in Articles 1 and 2 - A competent authority must, in relation to a
marine area, exercise any of their functions
which are relevant to marine conservation so as
to secure compliance with the requirements of the
Habitats Directive - Competent authorities before deciding to give
consent to a plan or project must make an
appropriate assessment of the implications of the
activity on the conservation objectives of the
