- To understand the assessment process for Year 2

- English Reading, Writing, Spelling and Speaking
and Listening - Maths
- Science
- Phonics (for children who did not meet the
required standard at Year One)
4- How are children assessed?
- Teacher assessments form the final judgement of
what children achieve at the end of Year 2 - Teachers will analyse and level childrens work
that they do as part of their normal lessons, but
they will also carry out a more formal assessment
as part of this process - When do the assessments take place?
- May June 2015 over 2 weeks
