Air pollution

• -Using low quality oil and coal and fuel oil
  with high lead content for heating or burning
  this kinds of frinig pollute the air
• - Air pollution by heating Using coal with
  high percentage of sulfur or fueloil causes about
  40 of air pollution

  and not fixing filter on cars stack causes about
  30 of air pollution

-Air pollution by factories Not using the right
system of protecting the environment, using cheap
and harmful combustible and the lack of filtre on
their chimneys causes about 30 of air pollution

Sea Pollution

• Turkey is surrounded by three seas. But
  pollution occurs at these seas because of
  industrial and domestic wastes. Several kinds of
  sea animals became extinct due to the pollution.

Disordered urbanization

• Unplanned industrialization causes huge amount
  of migration from rural areas to urban areas
  resulting in high density in big cities.Lack of
  proper infrastructure in big cities is the main
  reason of pollution.Cities expand disorderly and
  houses outside of city centers can not get proper
  municipality services.

Traffic problems

• Lack of public transporation increases the
  usage of private cars that result in air
  pollution and high fuel consumption.

• Turkey is one of the countries having the highest
  fuel price. Therefore we are improving the
  underground transportation, tubes and light
  railway systems to solve this issue.

• Our country loses a lot of its land as a
  result of landslide. This reduces effective
  plantation areas and forests. If this problem is
  not solved, it can easily cause drought in the
  near future.

• Each summer Turkey loses its forests to fire.

• This causes reduction of rains and climate
  change. As a result drought becomes a major
  problem in Turkey.

Collecting wastes

• Organic and inorganic wastes are collected
  together in most of the cities in Turkey causing
  the lost of some recyclable waste.
• If paper and plastic wastes are collected
  seperately, they can be reused in the industry.

• Acid rains are caused by the fume of the
  factories chimneys. These gases pollute the air
  and cause the acid rains. Acid rains reduce the
  fertility of the earth and kill several types of
  fish.

  being destroyed due to the uncontrolled usage of
  national sources. The Main results of this

• lack of food.
