• Some are afraid to stand up for the truth.
• For God hath not given us the spirit of fear
  but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind
  (2 Tim. 1 7).

• Others labor under a false view of biblical
  unity.
• Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in
  the bond of peace. There is one body. (Eph. 4
  3-6).

• They do not have sufficient love of the truth.
• because they received not the love of the
  truth, that they might be saved. And for this
  cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that
  they should believe a lie (2 Thes. 2 10, 11).

• They cannot stand the thought of possible family
  rejection.
• He that loveth father or mother more than me is
  not worthy of me (Matt. 10 37).

• They view standing for the truth as unloving.
• But the other of love, knowing that I am set for
  the defence of the gospel (Phili. 1 17).

  trouble-maker.
• For we have found this man a pestilent fellow

• Then Peter and the other apostles answered and
  said, We ought to obey God rather than men (Acts
