Unit Breakdown
  • This unit will consist of 2 projects, in class
    assignments, homework (both handouts and
    reading/questions from the textbook), outdoor
labs (weather depending) and a unit test.
  • Each unit in Science 10 is around 4-4.5 weeks
so our unit test will be the week of Nov 10th.
Please keep this in mind as we are going through
    topics.
  • Due dates for assignments will be posted on the
front of my webpage, so make sure you check
regularly, especially if you miss class time.

Unit Project 1
  • Weather Scrapbook
  • This project will be due towards the end of the
    unit, date TBA.
  • This can be done individually or done with a
partner, but be aware more work will be required
if you work with someone else.
  • An outline to the project will be posted on my
website in a few days, and a rubric will follow
shortly after so you know how you will be marked.
  • Please let me know by Friday, October 17th if you
will be working alone or with someone.
  • Your scrapbook will include weather related
articles from several sources such as newspapers,
magazines, websites, and more, written entries by
you about our current weather, pictures of
weather related events, etc. This will be in the
outline but the above is to give you a general
idea of the types of things that will be
    included.
