HERBS are
  • Any plant that may be used for pleasure,
    fragrance or physic. Herb Society of America,
    HSA
  • Plants may be annual, biennial, tender perennial,
    perennial, bulbs, trees or shrubs
  • Many popular herbs are herbaceous (have non-woody
    stems)

  • Examples of herbaceous herbs basil, borage,
    dill, parsley
  • Examples of woody herbs lavender, rosemary,
    sage, thyme

  • Promote aeration
  • Use light soil mix
  • Dont tip over
  • Place sand in bottom of pot to anchor it

  • Water until excess comes out bottom of pot
  • Dump excess water from containers bottom
