• Work - action, exertion of strength, time
  effort required
• Yearning to serve God, brethren

REQUIREMENT OF DESIRE

• Love God, truth - Gods work, will manage
  anothers affairs (steward) able to teach, hold
  fast the word, exhort others if no desire - bad
  example, souls lost, apostasy develops
• Love brethren, church - ineffective parents
  without love, shepherds unconcerned about sheep,
  management not interested in workers, elders no
  concern no respect of persons
• Willing to deny self - Not self-willed, not to be
  preeminent

WHY MEN LACK DESIRE

• Lack of Bible study
• Lack of faith
• Lack of personal responsibility (talent buried)
• Lack of spiritual growth
• Lack of encouragement
• Relative to desire of others, depth of faith
